Mark Paton

Mark Paton is an experienced financial executive currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Optix Africa since September 2017. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Financial Manager at DriveRisk (Pty) Ltd from October 2013 to August 2017, and at Magscene (Pty) Ltd during two intervals from January 2009 to September 2013. Early in the career, Mark served as Audit Manager at BE Rees & Company from January 2005 to December 2008, following a period as an Article Clerk. Mark's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Pretoria, completed between 2000 and 2004, after attending Benoni High School from 1995 to 1999.
