Turan Özen

Turan Özen is the current Chief Technical Officer at Optiyol. Prior to this, they held various managerial positions at Turkish companies TUBITAK BILGEM YTE, Türk Telekom, and Signum TTE. Turan has also worked as a solutions architect and software engineer for companies such as OYAK GM, Cybersoft, METU, and Aselsan.

Özen’s experience in software development and management has allowed him to contribute significantly to their current company, Optiyol. Under their leadership, Optiyol has become one of the most innovative and successful startups in Turkey.

Turan Özen has a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD (Devam Ediyor) in Computer Engineering from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University, a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the same school, and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the same school. Turan also has a Double Major Program in Mathematics from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University. Turan's high school education is in Mathematics from Trabzon Lisesi. Turan also has certification from Association of Enterprise Architects as a Conference Attendee and from The Open Group as a TOGAF 9.

Ömer Uluoğlu - Software Developer, Nejdet Çağdaş Yücesoy - Backend Tech Lead, and Berkay Özdemir - Software Developer report to Turan Özen. Turan Özen reports to Ozan Gözbaşı, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Duygu Nur Uylar - Business Analyst, Mustafa Anıl Diktepe - Visual Designer, and Cemal Atakan Parlak - Head of Growth.
