Kari Siik

Kari Siik has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kari has held positions at OPTOFIDELITY, where they started in 2017 and currently serves as the Head of Supply Chain and QHS manager. In this role, they focus on harmonizing ways of working, coaching project managers, and deploying new company-wide processes.

Prior to their current position, Siik held several roles at OPTOFIDELITY, including Team Leader for Project Management and OHS manager, Team Leader for Projects & Support, and Team Leader for Mechatronics. In these roles, they were responsible for team leadership, talent recruitment, and workflow harmonization, as well as various achievements such as ISO9001 target definition and deployment, rebuilding the US support capability, and establishing common component storage facilities.

Siik also has experience as a Project Manager at OPTOFIDELITY, where they managed robot-based test system deliveries and led the Robotics team. Additionally, Siik has entrepreneurial experience as the Founder and Partner of Sailor's Pro Shop Oy, where they imported sailing clothes and equipment to Finland.

Before their time at OPTOFIDELITY and Sailor's Pro Shop Oy, Siik worked as an Entrepreneur and Contract Consultant at Tmi LeanKaSi and as a Lean Coach at Lean5 Europe Oy Ltd. Kari also gained valuable experience at Microsoft as a Test System Project Manager and at Nokia, where they held various positions, including Project Manager for Test Systems, Project Manager for Reference HW Development, Operations & Logistics Project Manager, and Senior design Engineer in Prototypes.

Kari Siik earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Kuopio Institute of Technology. Additionally, Kari obtained several additional certifications including Lean Change agent from Aalto PRO - Aalto University Professional Development in 2016, Prince2 Foundation from APMG-International in 2015, and Green belt - Lean Six sigma from Nokia in 2014.
