Ville Pitkänen has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Ville started their career as a Registered Nurse at HCA and later worked as a Registered Nurse at the City of Helsinki. In 2006, they joined Medith Oy as a Product Manager, where they stayed until 2012. Ville then moved to Philips and held multiple roles, including Key Account Manager team lead Sales and Marketing, SRC Country Manager Finland, and SRC Country Manager Finland and Member of Board. In 2018, they joined Optomed Plc as the Regional Sales Manager Asia Pacific & India, responsible for sales planning, budgeting, and execution. In 2020, Ville was promoted to Sales Director at Optomed Plc. Throughout their career, Ville has demonstrated expertise in sales management, business development, and strategic planning.
Ville Pitkänen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA - eMBA) in International Business from Henley Business School, obtained from 2020 to 2022. Ville also has a Vocational Qualification in Management with a focus on Leadership and Management from MJK Institute, completed in 2011. In addition, Ville has a Bachelor of Nursing degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, earned from Helsingin Ammattikorkeakoulu Stadia from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed Practical Nurse training in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training at Helsingin kaupungin terveydenhoito-oppilaitos in 1996-1997.
