Robert Bakker

Robert Bakker is currently a Student Physician Assistant at Spaarne Gasthuis since February 2022, where responsibilities include providing independent medical care to patients within a specialized medical field. Bakker has extensive experience as an optometrist, having worked at various institutions including Oogheelkunde Rijswijk, Revoir Recruitment, and Optilens B.V., focusing on quality eye care and fitting a variety of contact lenses. Additionally, Bakker is a member of the Members Council for the Optometrists Association of the Netherlands (OVN) since November 2022 and previously served on the board of the Algemene Nederlandse Vereniging van Contactlensspecialisten. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Health Science in Optometry from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and certifications in contact lens practice and optical management.
