Ben Ferguson

Ben Ferguson's work experience includes:

- Senior Hardware Engineer at Optos since October 2019.

- Senior Hardware Engineer at Leonardo from June 2018 to October 2019.

- Hardware Engineer at Leonardo from April 2015 to June 2018. In this role, they were responsible for designing a new radar product, developing concepts for future radar products, and creating detailed PCB designs. Ben also collaborated with engineers from different disciplines, designed multi-function PCBs, wrote test software to automate testing, integrated PCBs and COTS evaluation cards, and participated in reviews. Ben also developed test vehicles for environmental verification of designs for aerospace requirements.

- Graduate RF Hardware Engineer at Leonardo from September 2013 to April 2015. In this role, they designed, prototyped, and tested various receiver architectures for radar products. Ben also gained experience in radar systems through a 6-month placement in the Systems function.

- Hardware Engineering Placement as part of their Masters Degree Programme from June 2013 to December 2013. Ben'sproject involved investigating and designing novel methods of frequency synthesis using COTS DDS devices.

Ben Ferguson attended the University of Glasgow from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Masters of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
