Daniel Eriksson

FPGA Engineer at Optos

Daniel Eriksson started their work experience as a PhD Student and Research Engineer at Stockholm University from 2001 to 2012. During this time, they were involved in testing, evaluation, development, and lifetime support of custom data acquisition electronics for the LHC. Daniel also gained extensive theoretical and experimental experience in electronics, focusing on digital design, PCB design, and measurement techniques.

Afterwards, they worked as a Design Engineer at Phabrix from 2012 to 2016, where they contributed to the development and maintenance of complex electronics systems.

In 2016, Daniel worked briefly as a Systems and Design Engineer at Embed Limited, where they gained experience in requirements capture and system design. However, they left due to the long commute.

From 2016 to 2019, they joined Timecode Systems Limited, first as a Senior Hardware Engineer and later as a Lead Electronics/Firmware/FPGA Engineer. In these roles, they were responsible for electronics design, firmware development, and FPGA programming.

In 2019, they became a Contract FPGA Engineer at Sierra Cp Engineering Limited, where they contributed to FPGA and PCB design for new product development, as well as FPGA development for data acquisition, distributed clock systems, and gigabit ethernet.

Most recently, Daniel joined Optos in 2022 as an FPGA Engineer, where they are involved in test development for existing FPGA designs and managing requirements traceability.

Daniel Eriksson attended Stockholm University. However, no specific information about their start year, end year, degree name, or field of study is provided.
