David Williams

David Williams has extensive experience in intellectual property law, currently serving as General Counsel - IP and Patent Attorney at Optos since February 2018. Prior to this role, David worked as a Patent Attorney at HGF Limited from May 2012 to January 2018 and at Murgitroyd & Company from May 2010 to April 2012, where David was part-qualified. David's career in the field began at Kennedys Patent as a Technical Assistant from October 2006 to April 2010. David holds a PhD in Chemistry with a focus on Heterogeneous Catalysis and an MSci in Chemistry, both obtained from the University of Glasgow.
