Sven Kolstø

Sven Kolstø has a diverse work experience starting with their role as the CEO of OptoScale, a technology company specializing in fish size estimation in aquaculture production. Sven received recognition for the company's achievements, including being awarded the "most exciting newcomer" prize in 2017.

Additionally, Sven co-founded CoFounder AS, a management and investment company, where they served as a Partner and Business Developer. CoFounder focuses on investing in early-stage high-tech companies within various industries such as IT, aquaculture, medtech, and oil & gas.

Sven also worked as a University Lecturer at NTNU, where they taught courses on innovation and negotiation. At Wavefoil, they assumed the role of Chairman Of The Board, overseeing the development of retractable bow foils for the marine industry, aimed at providing fuel savings and enhanced comfort at sea.

In 2009, Sven founded Kolstoe Consulting, and in 2011, they co-founded Havtek AS, a company specializing in developing technology to prevent salmon escape in fish farming.

Sven also gained experience as a Political Advisor at the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development, a Summer Intern at Gassco AS, a Central board member at Senterungdommen, and as a Conscript for the Norwegian military at a NATO base in Germany.

Sven Kolstø began their education journey in 2008 at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Economics. Sven dedicated five years to completing their degree, graduating in 2013. In 2011, Sven participated in an exchange program at UC San Diego, focusing on Fluid Dynamics and Economy and Management. Additionally, in 2012, they attended the Questrom School of Business at Boston University for an Executive Program, although the degree name is unspecified.
