Peter Wyles

Peter Wyles is the CEO of Optovue. Prior to their current position, they served as a board member for Materna Medical from February 2018 to March 2021. Materna is a start-up medical device company developing a device to prevent the damage women commonly suffer during childbirth.

From October 2017 to August 2020, Wyles served as the President & CEO of AD Skincare, LLC. During their time there, they focused on the development of an advanced topical delivery system to improve the efficacy of biologically active ingredients which are aimed at improving signs of the aging of human facial skin.

Prior to their time at AD Skincare, Wyles was the President & CEO of Tria Beauty from October 2014 to April 2017. Peter was also the Co-Founder / Board Observer for Theravent, Inc. from April 2013 to December 2016, and the President & CEO of Ventus Medical, Inc. from June 2010 to December 2012.

Wyles began their career at Bayer in July 1995 as the Global Project Leader for Specialty Medicine. Peter remained with Bayer for 15 years until they left in June 2010 to become the President & CEO of Ventus Medical, Inc.

Peter Wyles has a BA in Foreign Service & International Politics from Penn State University and an MBA in International Marketing from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
