Thomas Capon

Thomas Capon has a diverse work experience. Thomas began their career at EY, where they worked as an Audit Senior from September 2015 to April 2018. Thomas then transitioned to the role of Strategy and Transactions Executive at EY from May 2018 to September 2020. Following this, they joined Legal & General as a Portfolio Manager from October 2020 to September 2021. In November 2021, they joined Oxford Science Enterprises as an Investment Manager, working closely with the University of Oxford to build science-based businesses. Thomas held this position until August 2023. During this time, they also served on the boards of Brill Power and PrOXisense as a Board Director from December 2021 to August 2023 and as a Board Director and Board Observer at BehaVR, respectively. Currently, they are working as an Investment Principal at Optum Ventures.

Thomas Capon has a Master's Degree (MSc) in Economics & Strategy from Imperial College London. Thomas also holds a Level 1 certification in Finance, General from the CFA Institute. Thomas completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the University of Nottingham. Thomas also has a Diploma in Arabic Language and Literature from Ibn Jabal Institute in Oxford Street, London. Thomas completed their high school education at Dubai College. Additionally, they have a certification in CFA Level 1 from the CFA Institute.
