Nico MacDonagh

Nico MacDonagh is an accomplished investment professional currently serving as an Investment Principal at VGC Partners since September 2022, focusing on early-stage private equity in the Attention Economy sectors. Previously, Nico held the position of Head of Growth at Kick Game and served as a Techstars Mentor. Prior experience includes working as an Investment Analyst at Btomorrow Ventures, where Nico was part of the founding team targeting Seed to Series A investments in Health & Wellness, Science, Technology, and Sustainability. Additional roles include Partner VC at Focal, Business Analyst Intern at Advent International, and Change Management Analyst in the UK Civil Service. Nico holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Durham University and has completed training as a Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst through the Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI).
