Alex Blyakhman

Alex Blyakhman currently serves as the Chief Information Officer of Optum Financial and has been with Optum since March 2019. Prior to this role, Alex held positions at UnitedHealth Group from April 2015, including Vice President of IT and Director of Software Engineering, leading the establishment of a new Mobility Center of Excellence. From May 2003 to April 2015, Alex was the President and Chief Product Officer of WhereToLive.com, a company providing web marketing and technology solutions for real estate brokerages and franchises. Earlier career experience includes working as a Software Developer and EDI Fulfillment Manager at Comm5 Web Systems from 2001 to May 2003, where Alex developed software for medical benefits administration and facilitated EDI data exchanges. Alex holds an MBA in Information Technology from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota.
