Gerd Peters

Gerd Peters is a seasoned professional in healthcare management with extensive experience in client management and strategic development. Currently serving as Regional Director for Client Management and Strategy at Optum since May 2019, Gerd has led initiatives to enhance operational excellence and foster strategic partnerships aimed at improving patient outcomes. Prior to this role, Gerd was Regional Vice President of Business Development at RestorixHealth, focusing on management services agreements in the Southeast U.S. Gerd's prior positions include AVP of Strategic Initiatives and Business Development, West Region Director of Sales and Marketing, and District Director of Marketing at Kindred Healthcare, as well as Director of Operations at HealthSouth where Gerd managed outpatient rehabilitation operations. Gerd also holds the title of VP of Operations and Business Development from Desert Medical Sales and Services. Gerd Peters earned a Master of Science in Physical Therapy with a focus on Anatomy and Physiology from Andrews University.
