Karen Chambers

Karen Chambers is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in clinical services and operations. Currently, as Vice President of Clinical Services at Optum since December 2012, Karen oversees the management of post-acute care and Home Health Services. Prior to this role, Karen served as Principal at OnPoint Healthcare Solutions, providing independent consulting in case management and revenue cycle. In her earlier tenure at athenahealth, Karen co-founded Proxsys and achieved significant market growth as Vice President of Operations. Additionally, at VIVA Health, Karen held the positions of Director of Quality Improvement and Assistant Program Director for the Medicaid Maternity Program. Karen also served as National Past President of the Case Management Society of America, contributing to the development of the case management profession. Karen holds a BSN from Camberlain College of Nursing and an ADN from Northwest Alabama.
