Sajal Dam

Sajal Dam is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in engineering and IT across various roles in the healthcare and retail sectors. Currently serving as VP of Engineering & IT at Optum since December 2021, Sajal Dam has been instrumental in driving technology functions and fostering parallel innovation at the UHG subsidiary Episource. Prior experience includes the role of Chief Information Officer at HealthJoy, where Sajal Dam focused on cloud-native architecture and agile delivery for a growing startup. Additional roles include VP of Engineering and VP of Software Development at APEX Analytix, LLC, where Sajal Dam led cross-functional engineering strategies, and Director of Application Development at both Gordmans and Fanatics, Inc., overseeing enterprise-wide engineering and application development strategies. Sajal Dam holds an MBA from Duke University and completed an Executive Education program in Chief Technology Officer studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
