Shriram Mani

Shriram Mani is an experienced software engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering and Director of Architecture at Optum since March 2016, focusing on technical debt management, project management, and DevOps for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Health Information Exchange. As the President of Ironpillars, Inc. since September 2005, Shriram has been involved in designing data-driven software and developing Java libraries for web-based projects. Shriram's previous consultancy roles include being a Senior Database Consultant at Celerity-Solutions, where web analytics tools were re-engineered, and an Application Architect at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, where Shriram designed solutions for ACA compliance and various database systems. Shriram's career also includes roles at Oracle Corporation and Kumaran Systems. Shriram holds an HDSE in Software Engineering from Aptech, a Master of Science in Physics (Electronics) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics (Electronics) from A.V.C. College.
