Vargheese Joseph

Vargheese Joseph is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in cloud architecture and site reliability engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Cloud SRE at Optum since November 2021, Vargheese specializes in public cloud operations and DevOps practices. Previously, Vargheese held the position of Senior Software Development Manager at West Unified Communications Services, leading technology transformations to cloud platforms and managing Salesforce development. Vargheese also served as Senior Manager/Director of Software Development and Global Delivery at Aon, where responsibilities included scrum mentorship and offshore delivery model creation. Early career roles included management positions at AIG, overseeing the development of insurance web applications, and a technical consultant role at Winware Inc. Vargheese holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
