Kristen started their career as an Office Coordinator at ISU Printing and Copy Services in 1999. Kristen then interned at Festivals Inc./New Growth Event Solutions in 2001.

In 2002, Kristen joined CRG Events as a Director. At CRG Events, they specialized in strategic planning and attendee registration services for events such as conferences, sales meetings, and product launches. Kristen stayed with the company for over 15 years, until February 2018.

In the same year, Kristen also worked as a Tour Guide at First & Goal, Inc. from August 2002 to March 2004.
