Pete Thomas

Pete Thomas is an experienced business development professional with a strong background in capital markets and mortgage services. Currently serving as Business Development Director at Opus Capital Markets Consultants, LLC since May 2023, Pete is responsible for selling a range of services to capital market clients. Previous roles include Director of National Sales at Covius Services, where responsibilities encompassed business development and sales of services like loan diligence and technology solutions. At Spring EQ, Pete focused on loan sales and funding, while at Freedom Mortgage, Pete was instrumental in expanding product offerings and investor relationships. With earlier positions at CoreLogic, Duncan Williams, Citi, PHH Mortgage Services, Dover Mortgage Funding, and Bear Stearns, Pete has consistently demonstrated expertise in mortgage data, secondary marketing, and product development throughout a career that spans over three decades. Pete holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Scranton.
