Kalpana Venkataraman

Kalpana Venkataraman currently serves as a Principal Consultant at Opus Regulatory, providing strategic support for CCDS and local labeling content for clients since July 2020. Prior to this role, Kalpana held various positions at Merck from 1989 to 2020, including Director of Worldwide Product Labeling and Manager of Worldwide Product Labeling, where responsibilities included new labeling development and updates for marketed products. Earlier in the career, Kalpana worked as a Medical Technologist at Robertwood Johnson University Hospital and gained experience in drug metabolism while progressing from Staff Scientist to Senior Scientist. Kalpana holds a B.S. in Medical Technology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, an M.S. in Medical Biochemistry from Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Tagore Arts College, University of Madras.
