Pierre-Armand Nicq

Pierre-Armand Nicq is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the gaming industry. Pierre-Armand started their career as a Developer and Tester Intern at Pastagames in 2014. In 2015, they presented Blender 3D at Cyanide and co-authored the book "Blender 3D by Example" for Packt Publishing.

From 2016 to 2021, Pierre worked at Ubisoft, initially as a Junior R&D Gameplay Programmer and later as a Technical Artist and Developer at Ubisoft Strategic Innovation Lab. During this time, they also served as a Technical Artist Assistant in R&D Mobile at Ubisoft.

In 2016, Pierre began teaching VR development courses at IIM - Institut de l'internet et du multimédia. Pierre-Armand also taught Blender 3D courses at the same institution in 2017.

In 2021, Pierre joined Madbox as a Technical Creative Director, leading small teams in game development and serving as a TechArt Referent. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and CCO of OpusMajor, where they are working on a cross-platform multiplayer game.

Pierre-Armand Nicq attended the IIM Digital School from 2012 to 2016, but it is not specified if they obtained a degree or studied a particular field.
