Peng Wang

Peng Wang, a physician and experienced businessman serve as Ora’s General Manager of China. He is responsible for all of Ora’s activities in that country, including leading business, scientific, and operational activities across all therapeutic areas. As he guides the China operations through significant growth, Peng works in partnership with Ora’s global leaders to further the company’s commitment to global efficiency, consistency, high-quality results, and customer satisfaction.

Peng has more than twenty years of biotech experience, including ten years guiding international research organizations through smart business growth in China. He possesses a deep understanding of multinational companies, China’s regulatory environment, and strategic partnership development.

Peng came to Ora from PPD, a large global research organization headquartered in the US. Before that, he worked at Syneos, Covance, and Parexel. Prior to these life-sciences roles, Peng served as a physician in China. His knowledge of hands-on medicine and the research that supports it grants Peng a broad perspective of patient needs and research demands.

Peng, who speaks English and Japanese in addition to Mandarin, earned two degrees—a clinical research degree in Japan and a medical degree in China.
