Carlos Villa

Carlos Villa is a highly skilled security professional with extensive experience in application security and software development. Currently serving as a Principal Application Security Engineer at Oracle, Carlos is a key member of the Product Security Engineering Team focused on security assessments and threat modeling within the SDLC for NetSuite Oracle. Previously, Carlos held the position of Security Consulting Analyst at Accenture España, specializing in pentesting APIs, web, and mobile applications. Additional experience includes co-owning Presup, where Carlos developed a desktop application for translators, and contributing as an Assistant Researcher Intern at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid on digitization processes. Carlos holds a Master in Computer Science from EPFL and a Master in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Technologies and Services from the same institution.
