Hayley Staten

Hayley Staten has extensive experience in human factors engineering and research across various industries. Beginning as an intern at AREVA NP, Hayley contributed to requirements management tasks aligned with NRC regulations and supported the development of the Human Factors Engineering (HFE) program. At Westinghouse Electric Company, significant achievements included leading global verification and validation programs and overseeing the Design Verification process for the AP1000 project. Subsequently, Hayley served as a Senior Human Factors Researcher at both Cerner Corporation and Oracle, focusing on regulatory evaluations, usability testing, and informing design strategies for medical devices and electronic health records. Additionally, Hayley has experience in marketing and design, beginning with a role as a Marketing Intern and culminating with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Product Design from Appalachian State University.
