Rebecca Laborde

Rebecca Laborde is an accomplished professional in health innovation and scientific advisory, currently serving as Chief Scientist and Vice President at Oracle Health & AI since September 2015. In this role, Rebecca has contributed to the Oracle Pandemic Response efforts and collaborated with HHS to create a national COVID-19 Vaccine Volunteer Screening registry. Previously, Rebecca held positions such as Master Principal Scientist in Clinical Innovation and Senior Director for Healthcare Innovation, focusing on global product strategy and customer engagement in the health sciences sector. Prior to Oracle, Rebecca worked at PerkinElmer and Mayo Clinic, where significant contributions included project management for molecular and genomic investigations in head and neck cancer and coordination of interdisciplinary research efforts. Rebecca's academic background features a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Iowa State University and a BA in Biology from Saint Mary’s University, complemented by teaching roles in Microbiology at the University of Minnesota and Rochester Community and Technical College.
