Sheela Vats

Sheela Vats is an experienced technology professional currently serving as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle since November 2010, focusing on the design and development of observability offerings on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) using micro-services architecture. Prior to this role, Sheela held the position of Senior Member of Technical Staff for Oracle Management Cloud, where responsibilities included designing OCI services for monitoring and application performance management. Previous experience includes a Senior Software Engineer role at Robert Half, where software was developed using Agile methodologies and various Object-Oriented technologies, as well as software engineering positions at Ultramain Systems and Tech Mahindra. Sheela holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of New Mexico, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications from Osmania University, and completed a summer research program at Cornell University focused on cryptocurrencies and contracts.
