Venkatesh Hiware

Venkatesh Hiware is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in cloud engineering and operations, currently serving as Vice President of Cloud Engineering and Operations at Oracle since March 2011. Venkatesh has led engineering teams responsible for Oracle's autonomous database service, focusing on high availability in PaaS and SaaS environments while managing hiring, training, and professional development. Prior roles at Oracle include IT Director for the Public Cloud and Senior Principal Consultant, where Venkatesh provided strategic leadership and technical solutions to align with customer needs. Previous experience includes database administration and analytical roles at ITC Transmission, AT&T, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, FWL Technologies, and Axiom Systems. Venkatesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Technology from Nagpur University.
