Yinka Somotun

Yinka Somotun is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and legal matters. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Global Procurement at Oracle Corporation since April 2007, Yinka leads a worldwide team of contract professionals across five international locations, managing Oracle's Global Procurement Contracts and overseeing the Global Contingent Workforce Program with an annual budget of $100 million. Previous roles include Business Contracts Analyst at the University of California at Berkeley, where Yinka focused on commercial and intellectual property contracts, and Attorney at Chevron Corporation, specializing in transactional oil and gas negotiations in the EMEA region. Earlier experience includes serving as Legal Counsel at Texaco. Yinka holds a Master’s degree in Law from the University of Lagos, a license as an attorney from the Nigerian Law School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Lagos State University.
