Aaron Tanner

Aaron Tanner is a freelance writer for both Smoky Mountain Living and Alabama Living Magazine, contributing articles focused on regional culture and history since 2020 and 2017 respectively. In addition to writing, Aaron has over nine years of experience at Oral Arts Dental Laboratories, Inc., where responsibilities include running essential tasks within the lab and designing the internal company newsletter. Prior to this, Aaron held roles in industrial design, television production, and as an enumerator for the U.S. Census Bureau. Aaron holds a Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Jacksonville State University, completed in 2008.
