Arun Rajamani is a technology leader with extensive experience in the public sector, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children since 2015. In this role, Arun heads technology initiatives, including the ICT Programme implementation and the Digital Workplace Programme. Arun has previously held positions such as General Manager, Technology (interim) and Technology Lead for the Investing in Children Programme. Prior experience includes serving as Manager - Strategy and Architecture (Chief Enterprise Architect) at the Ministry of Social Development in Wellington, where responsibilities encompassed ICT strategy, digital strategy, and enterprise architecture. Arun's career also includes roles at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Dublin and Tata Consultancy Services, in addition to early work as a Design Lead at Mechatronics. Arun holds a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Pune University.
