Tarek Turaigi, CFA, currently serves as the Senior Investment Officer at the Orange County Employees Retirement System since February 2018, previously holding the position of Investment Officer. Prior experience includes roles as Portfolio Manager for Private Markets at Saudi Aramco for a brief period in late 2017, and as Portfolio Manager at KAUST from September 2015 to October 2017. Tarek Turaigi's career at Saudi Aramco began in 2006 with the role of Internal Auditor, followed by positions as Associate in Private Markets until 2015. Tarek Turaigi holds an MBA from IESE Business School - University of Navarra (2009-2011) and a degree in Accounting Information Systems from Virginia Tech (2002-2006).

The Orange County Employees Retirement System (OCERS) provides retirement, death, disability, and cost-of living benefits to employees of the County of Orange and certain County special districts and agencies. OCERS is governed by a nine-member Board of Retirement that is responsible for managing a $21 billion dollar fund. For more than 75 years, OCERS has remained committed to fulfilling its fiduciary responsibility for the assets and administration of the System in a manner that assures prompt delivery of benefits and related services to the participants and their beneficiaries.
