Dr. Ellen Kuhnert Dnp, Mba, Rn, Chfp, Tncc

Dr. Ellen Kuhnert has extensive work experience in various healthcare leadership roles. Dr. Ellen is currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer at Orange County Global Medical Center. Prior to that, they were the Chief Executive Officer at Workforce Innovation Navigators-WIN. Dr. Ellen also has experience as the Chief Clinical Officer at RightSourcing, Inc., where they provided strategic clinical oversight and expertise in healthcare workforce management and planning. Dr. Kuhnert was previously the Vice President of Business Development at Fastaff Travel Nursing & US Nursing, focusing on business development and client services. Dr. Ellen also worked as the Regional Director-Workforce Solutions at MedAssets, overseeing operations and strategy for the Western Region. Before that, Dr. Kuhnert held various roles at Tenet Healthcare, including Interim CNO, Assistant CNO, Nursing Director, and Nurse Manager. Dr. Ellen started their career as a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), where they provided bedside care for critically ill children.

Dr. Ellen Kuhnert DNP, MBA, RN, CHFP, TNCC has an extensive education history that consists of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Mount Saint Mary's University, which they obtained from 1991 to 1994. Following this, Dr. Kuhnert pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2002. Most recently, they earned their Doctorate in Nursing Practice-Executive Leadership from the University of San Francisco between the years 2016 and 2018.

In addition to their educational achievements, Dr. Kuhnert holds certifications in various areas. In October 2016, they obtained a Certificate in Healthcare Finance (CHFP). Furthermore, in August 2019, they obtained the TNCC certification from the Emergency Nurses Association.
