Lavon Williams

Lavon Williams, Esq., AICP, serves as the Deputy Director and Manager of the Community Action Division for Orange County Government since July 2017. In addition, Lavon B Williams operates a law office focused on family and dependency law since January 2011. Prior to current roles, Lavon managed a team of 17 professionals and a budget of $1.5 million for the Orange County Neighborhood Services Division from June 1997 to July 2017, focusing on neighborhood redevelopment and revitalization. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctorate from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (2009), a Master's in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning, and a Master's in Public Administration from Florida State University (1997), along with a Bachelor's in History and Political Science from the University of North Florida (1994).
