Francisco Velez

Francisco Velez has extensive experience in the telecommunications and energy sectors, currently serving as a Strategic Planning Engineer at France Telecom Spain since August 1999, with a focus on Transmission Planning. Previously, as a Contract Manager, responsibilities included enhancing vendor performance through the analysis of contractual quality parameters and KPIs. In the role of Controller of the Production Division, oversight involved budgetary follow-up and contract negotiations related to dark optical fibers leasing. Earlier, at RED ELECTRICA DE ESPAÑA from January 1989 to July 1999, Francisco Velez worked as a Project Manager, handling the specification and installation of compound cables for overhead power lines and coordinating telecommunications for the first submarine electrical interconnection between Spain and Morocco.
