Tha'Er al Jaoni

Tha'er Al Jaoni has extensive experience in the field of IT security and software development. Tha'er began their career as a Java Developer at ITG in 2005 and later worked as a Software Developer at Progressoft in 2007. Tha'er then joined Oger Systems as a Senior J2EE Developer, where they were responsible for coding HTML, JavaScript, applet/Swing code, JSPs, and servlets for applications. Tha'er also collaborated with the Layout Designer to build prototypes and develop working versions. In 2009, Tha'er became a Senior J2EE Developer at STS, focusing on designing secure web applications and participating in object/component analysis.

In 2010, Tha'er joined Orange Jordan as a Senior Secure Code Review Advisor. Tha'er conducted security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments for both internal and external systems. Tha'er was also involved in web application assessment and conducted security code reviews. After two years, they were promoted to the role of Ethical Hacking Supervisor at Orange International. In this position, they supervised a team and was responsible for reviewing network applications and conducting security training.

In 2014, Tha'er joined Orange as an Ethical Hacking Team Leader before transitioning back to Orange Jordan in 2016 as an Ethical Hacking Manager. In this role, they conducted vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, delivered security trainings, and ensured compliance with security policies. Finally, Tha'er assumed the position of Security Services and Operations Director at Orange Jordan in 2019. In this role, they coordinated escalations, collaborated with technology teams, and provided proactive reports on threats and vulnerabilities. Tha'er also implemented security solutions, engaged in advanced security technology discussions with corporate customers, and participated in security audits. Throughout their career, Tha'er has developed expertise in network security, ethical hacking, and secure software development.

Tha'er Al Jaoni holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Cybersecurity from Technological University Dublin. Tha'er also obtained a V.Good degree in Computer Information System from Jami'at Al Al-Bayt. In addition, they have various certifications including CCNA Security from Cisco, APS User/Admin Training from Arbor Networks, and several others from different institutions such as EC-Council, ISACA, IBM, PECB, Fortinet, and Sun Microsystems.
