Olivier Smal

Olivier Smal is a Senior Solutions Engineer at Orange since December 2019, previously holding the position of Indoor Team Leader at Ericsson from April 2011 to December 2019, where a focus on team organization and efficiency improvement was emphasized. Prior to that, Olivier Smal served as a Network Consultant and Electromechanical Engineer at Université catholique de Louvain from October 2001 to April 2011, engaging in research on micromechanics and teaching civil engineering students. Early career experience includes a role as a Research Assistant on an inter-university project aimed at creating a micro-implantable pump prototype for diabetes treatment. Olivier Smal holds a PhD in Engineering Sciences and a Master in Electromechanical Civil Engineering, both from Université catholique de Louvain.
