Francisco Céspedes

Francisco Céspedes has over 13 years of experience in the design field. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Junior Designer at EDECSA, an architecture and design studio, where they collaborated in projects for NYU Buenos Aires, Francis Ford Coppola, Hotel Eurobuilding Buenos Aires, and Hollywood Towers I & II. During this time, they were responsible for tasks in furniture and interior design, suppliers, CAD, and rendering. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Junior Designer at Comunicación y Diseño | ARCACREA, where they were responsible for trade show display design and 3D modeling for clients such as Lenovo, Samsung, Personal, and Edelman. Francisco also worked as a Freelance Industrial Designer from 2012 to 2013, completing projects for Google Argentina, Fundación Temaiken, Planetario de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, and Museo de Tigre. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Sr Industrial Designer at GRUPO LAMOSA, a porcelain tile company in Latin America, where they gained experience in understanding business and users point of view and making their purchase process as easy, inspiring and enjoyable as possible in a retail environment. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Junior UX/UI Designer at Paperly Company, a Buenos Aires based agency, where they gained experience in understanding clients needs and developing the complete process of a digital user-centered product. Currently, they are working as a Semi-Senior UX/UI Designer at OrangeLoops, a Montevideo, Uruguay based software company, where they are responsible for tasks in UX/UI design, flow charts, visual & interface design, UI Kit, atomic & responsibe design, and wireframing in Hi-Fi.

Francisco Céspedes has a diverse educational background. From 2005 to 2011, they attended Universidad de Palermo and obtained a degree in Diseño Industrial with a focus in Diseño industrial y de productos. In 2007, they completed the McNeel Rhinoceros 3D Official Training Program and received a Rhinoceros Official Certification in 3D Modeling. In 2012, they attended Pratt Institute and completed the Sustainabi​lity Crash Course New York. In 2013, they attended Universidad de 'San Andrés'​ and obtained a degree in Especialización en Comunicación & Marketing. Finally, in 2020, they began attending Digital House and is currently working towards a degree in UX Designer with a focus in Aplicaciones.
