Gary Hartill

Gary Hartill, AIA, currently serves as the Advisory Board Chair for the YMCA of Columbia-Willamette since August 2022. As President and Managing Principal of ORANGEWALLstudios architecture + planning since December 2003, Gary focuses on providing creative design solutions and facilitating successful collaborations among owners, design teams, and contractors. Previously, Gary was the President of SEEK CHANGE, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving design and construction practices through mentorship and networking from January 2017 to January 2020. Prior experience includes working as a designer at Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Partnership and Waterleaf Architecture, contributing to notable projects such as the Eliot Tower and Johns Hopkins, Cancer Research Center 2. Gary received education from Portland State University.
