John Fayez

John Fayez is a VDC/BIM Engineer at Orascom Construction PLC, specializing in the 500 Kv HVDC Saudi Egypt interconnection project since March 2024. Previously, John served as an Electrical Technical Office Engineer at MCT-EGYPT from November 2023 to March 2024, and as an Electrical Consultant Engineer at MEPEC from September 2020 to March 2024, focusing on electrical design, shop drawings, light current systems, and distribution. Earlier experience includes a trainee position at Sollic Contracting Group in mid-2020 and a role as a low current Engineer at Plan B IT Solutions from August 2018 to June 2020. John also completed a training stint at Schneider Electric, where knowledge was gained on circuit breakers and electrical equipment, and at The Egyptian Media Production City, focusing on single line diagrams and power systems. John earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, graduating with very good honors in 2020.
