Khaled El Degwy is an accomplished leader in the renewable energy and construction sectors, currently serving as Chairman of the Board for Red Sea Wind Energy and Ras Ghareb Wind Energy since October 2021 and December 2017, respectively. With significant involvement in the Ras Ghareb Wind Energy project, Khaled has overseen its financial closure, construction, and ongoing operations. As Chairman of Orasqualia since March 2017, Khaled played a key role in establishing Egypt's first wastewater treatment plant under a public-private partnership. Additionally, Khaled has extensive experience in management roles, including Executive Director of Concessions at Orascom Construction since July 2010 and General Manager at Orascom Construction Algeria from September 2001 to July 2010. Khaled holds an Executive Management program certificate from Harvard Business School, an MSc in Construction Management from the University of Reading, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from Ain Shams University.
