Rebekah Parsons

Rebekah Parsons, MS, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in infectious disease testing and molecular diagnostics. Currently serving as the Director for Core Molecular and COVID/Emerging Diagnostics at OraSure Technologies since January 2016, Rebekah has played a pivotal role in the implementation and expansion of public health programs targeting HCV, HIV, and Influenza. Additionally, Rebekah holds the position of Executive Board Member at the Delaware HIV Consortium and previously worked in various roles at QIAGEN and OraSure Technologies. Earlier career experiences include serving as Laboratory Manager at the State of Delaware Public Health Laboratory and Research Associate roles at the University of Delaware and University of Pittsburgh. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Forensic Science and Technology from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Pittsburgh.
