Laurence Osmond

Laurence Osmond has extensive work experience in the field of research and analytics. Laurence is currently working as the Head of Analytics at ORB International since January 2023. Prior to this, Laurence attended the Data Science Immersive Course at General Assembly from July 2022 to October 2022, where they conducted an independent study on exploring and predicting Coronavirus vaccine hesitancy and uptake. Before that, Laurence worked at ORB International as an Associate Director from September 2019 to May 2022, where they contributed to business development, managed research projects, and applied advanced statistical techniques for analysis. Laurence also held the position of Senior Research Analyst at ORB International from November 2015 to September 2019, where they designed and managed research projects, supervised fieldwork teams, and produced insights and recommendations for clients. Laurence started their career at Ipsos MORI as a Research Executive from October 2012 to September 2014, and later worked as a Senior Research Executive from October 2014 to October 2015.

Laurence Osmond's education history starts with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from the University of Warwick, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Laurence then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Economics, specializing in International Economics, at the University of Amsterdam from 2011 to 2012. In 2014, Laurence obtained the MRS Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research from the Market Research Society (MRS) to enhance their research skills. Recently, in 2022, Laurence completed a Data Science Immersive program at General Assembly to acquire expertise in the field of Data Science.
