Sean Maguire

Sean Maguire has extensive experience in the shipping industry, particularly in the development of wireless monitoring systems for containers and associated assets. From 2002 to 2007, they owned Port Solutions Inc, a consultancy business that provided services to industry leaders such as Maersk Line and APL. Sean then worked as a Business Development Specialist at WAM Technologies LLC from 2007 to 2015, where they developed two telemetry products for the shipping line industry and secured the largest contract for global reefer container tracking. Since 2015, Sean has been the Vice President of Business Development at ORBCOMM, where they are responsible for assessing and developing new products and opportunities in wireless monitoring for intermodal shipping. Sean'swork has helped to advance and transform the shipping industry.

Sean Maguire attended Technological University Dublin from 1985 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
