Jomar Serpa

Jomar Serpa has a diverse work experience in various roles related to product design and art direction. Jomar is currently working at Orbia as a Senior Product Designer, contributing to the development of a marketplace focused on the agribusiness sector. Prior to this, they worked at Grupo SIAGRI as a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX), where they provided solutions for the agricultural industry. Before that, Jomar worked at Americas Health as a Product & Design UX/UI professional. Jomar also worked at Sidia Instituto de Ciência e Tecnologia as a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) and at Avatar as the Head of Art. Jomar has experience in the media industry as well, with roles at TELEFE and Viacom as a Senior Art Director. Additionally, they worked at Vostu as an Art Director Jr. Jomar has a strong background in UI/UX design and has contributed to the development of various products and platforms throughout their career.

Jomar Serpa completed their Superior em Design Gráfico degree from UniRuy Wyden in 2021. During the same period, they pursued a Pós-Graduação in User Experience design at Universidade Salvador. In 2022, Jomar enrolled at Universidade Salvador again to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Gestão de Projetos, which they are expected to complete in 2023.

Additionally, Jomar has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In 2022, they completed the Curso de UX Design (Bootcamp) from Aldeia.cc. In 2021, they earned the Google UX Design Professional Certificate. In 2020, Jomar became certified in Design Sprint and UX & Design Thinking from Udemy. In 2015, they obtained a certification in Motion Graphics from Image Campus, and in 2010, they received a certification in Computer Graphics from Escola SAGA.
