Alexander Steegers

Alexander Steegers has over 15 years of experience in various data and analytics roles. Alexander started their career at Staples in 2004, where they held positions such as Finance Assistant, Program Manager, and Business Intelligence Analyst before becoming the Manager of Business Intelligence for Europe and later the Head of BI Competence Center for Europe. In 2015, they joined Wavin as the Manager of Enterprise Information Management before moving on to become the Head of Data & Analytics for Wavin EMEA and then the Senior Manager of Global Data & Analytics. In 2017, they took on the role of Head of Global Enterprise Information Management at Mexichem, Wavin's parent organization, before assuming their current position as the Director Global IT Data & Analytics at Orbia in 2022. Throughout their career, Alexander has been responsible for developing and implementing data strategies, overseeing master data management, business intelligence, analytics, and enterprise information management on a global scale.

Alexander Steegers completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Management at NCOI Business School from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they studied Business Economics at HEAO from 1995 to 1997. In 2011, they participated in the Advanced Manager Program at Staples LearningXchange. Alexander also holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from The Lean Six Sigma Company.
