Markus Schiffers

Markus Schiffers has had extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Markus started their career as a Bundesbankinspektor at Deutsche Bundesbank from 1995 to 2000. Markus then joined Siemens Financial Services GmbH, where they worked as Head of Operations from 2000 to 2003 and as Head of Backoffice from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, they became the VP & General Manager at Siemens Financial Services, Inc, where they jointly led the Working Capital Finance US organization. Markus continued working at Siemens Financial Services as Head of Supply Chain Finance from 2007 to 2008. From 2008 to 2011, they were the Head of Supply Chain Finance at Siemens Treasury GmbH. Markus then joined Siemens Financial Services again as Senior Vice President and Head of Strategic Development from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they became the Managing Director at SUSI Partners AG until 2016. From 2015 to 2017, they were also a Co-Founder of 3rd-eyes AG, where they developed a digital advisory platform. Currently, they hold the position of Managing Director at Orbian since 2018.

Markus Schiffers completed their education at two different institutions. From 1995 to 1998, they attended the Fachhochschule der Dt. Bundesbank, Schloß Hachenburg, where they pursued a diploma in Betriebswirt. Later, from 2001 to 2003, Markus studied at the CFA Institute, obtaining a CFA degree.
