Ryan D. Zimmerman is a skilled engineering drafter with extensive experience in CAD design and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Drafter at Orbion Space Technology since February 2024, Ryan has previously held positions including Senior NX Computer Aided Design Engineer at AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing, and Senior CAD Designer at Adaptive Energy LLC. Over the years, Ryan has contributed to high-profile projects for major automotive manufacturers such as Ford, General Motors, and Tesla Motors, utilizing various CAD software including AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Ryan began a career in CAD design as an Entry Level CAD Designer at De-Cal Mechanical Contractors after earning an Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Mechanical Design from Schoolcraft College.
