Ashton Tambre

Ashton Tambre is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in fund accounting and valuations, currently serving as Manager at Orbis Investments since January 2008. Responsibilities include managing accounting and valuation for investment funds, overseeing internal controls, and leading project management initiatives, as well as liaising with custodians and fund administrators. Prior to this role, Ashton worked as an Auditor at KPMG from September 2002 to January 2008, where responsibilities included planning and executing financial audits and supervising audit teams. Ashton began a career in finance with an Accounting Internship at Envision Financial in late 2001. Educational qualifications include a CPA, CA in Accounting & Finance from the CA School of Business (2002 - 2005) and a BBA in Accounting & Finance from Simon Fraser University (2000 - 2002).
