Senior Manager, Instructional Design at Orbis Education

Danielle Mbadu has extensive work experience in instructional design and curriculum development. Danielle currently holds the position of Senior Manager, Instructional Design at Orbis Education since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the Manager of Instructional Design at Orbis Education from January 2020 to September 2021. From April 2019 to January 2020, they were an Instructional Designer at Orbis Education. Before joining Orbis Education, they served as an Instructional Designer at Orbis Education from June 2016 to April 2019.

In addition to their experience in instructional design, Danielle has also worked as an Independent Contractor/Freelancer at their own business since November 2010. From January 2015 to December 2015, they worked as a Contract Instructional Designer at Everspring Inc.

Danielle's earlier work experience includes roles at Kaplan Higher Education Corporation and Knowledge Learning Corporation. Danielle served as the Manager of Instructional Design at Kaplan Higher Education Corporation from January 2009 to November 2010, and as an Instructional Designer from February 2008 to January 2009. At Knowledge Learning Corporation, they worked as a Curriculum Development Specialist from June 2006 to February 2008.

Before transitioning into instructional design, Danielle held various positions as a Teacher, Coach, and Special Education Associate (RTI) at different organizations from July 2000 to June 2006.

Danielle Mbadu holds a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University Chicago. Danielle also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education with a focus on English and Psychology from the same institution. Additionally, Danielle holds a Certificate of Advanced Study (MEd) in Educational Administration from National Louis University.
